Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Chance Kittrell, doing business as Pronto Productivity ("we," "us"), collects when you use the Pronto app (the "App") and this website, how it's used, and the choices you have. Short version: we collect only what the App needs to work, we don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and you can delete everything at any time.
1. Information we collect
Account information
- Your sign-in identity from Apple, Google, or an email address and password.
- Your email address and the display name you choose.
- A random user ID that ties your data to your account.
Things you log in the App
- Habits, progress, streaks, and notes.
- Food diary entries, saved foods, and diet goals (calories, protein, carbs, fat, sugar, caffeine).
- Body weight entries and body profile details you enter (such as height and weight).
- Workouts, exercises, sets, reps, and weights.
- Runs, including GPS location points, distance, pace, and duration, while a run is being recorded.
- Schedule events, reminders, to-do lists (including shopping links and costs), and recipes.
- Long-term goals and progress.
- Progress photos you choose to add.
- Messages you send to Pronto and Chef Pronto, and the replies.
Data from your device, only with your permission
- Apple Health. Daily step count, read only, for the steps habit. We never write to Health.
- Location. While you record a run. Not collected at any other time.
- Camera. For barcode scanning and taking progress photos. Images are only stored if you save them.
- Microphone and speech recognition. When you talk to Pronto. Audio is converted to text on your device by Apple's speech service; we receive the text, not the audio.
- Calendar. If you turn on Apple Calendar sync, we add your App events to your calendar. We don't read your other calendar events.
- Screen Time (Family Controls). To set app limits. Apple's design means your app list and usage numbers never leave your device and are never visible to us. The limit names and minute budgets you choose are stored in your account.
Website
- Support tickets: your name, email, and message.
- With your consent, Google Analytics usage data (pages viewed, approximate location by IP, device type). See the Cookie Policy.
- Server logs from our hosting provider (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept for security for a short period.
2. How we use it
- To run the App and show you your own data across your devices.
- To power Pronto and Chef Pronto. Your messages, and the parts of your data needed to answer (for example, today's schedule when you ask for free time), are sent to Anthropic's Claude API through our own server to generate a reply.
- To look up nutrition facts for branded foods, which may involve an automated web search for that product's published nutrition information. The search contains the food name, never your identity.
- To answer support requests.
- To keep the service secure and fix bugs.
We do not sell personal information, do not share it with advertisers, and do not use health, fitness, diet, or location data for advertising or marketing.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer, in which case this policy continues to apply.
4. Health data
Information from Apple Health and the health-related things you log (weight, food, workouts) are used only to provide the App's features to you. We never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never store it in iCloud. It is stored in Google Firebase under your account and deleted when you delete your account.
5. Data retention
- Account and logged data: kept until you delete your account.
- Pronto chat history: the App only loads recent messages, and all history is deleted with your account.
- Support tickets: up to 2 years.
- Analytics: per Google Analytics settings, 14 months.
- Anonymous branded-food nutrition lookups are kept in a shared cache with no link to any user.
6. Your choices and rights
- Delete everything. Profile > Settings > Delete Account in the App, or request it here.
- Access or correct. Almost everything is editable in the App. For a copy of your data, email us.
- Permissions. Turn Health, Location, Camera, Microphone, Calendar, or Screen Time access off any time in iPhone Settings. Related features will stop working.
- Cookies. Accept or reject analytics on this website; change your mind with the Cookie settings link in the footer.
- Depending on where you live (for example, California, the EU, or the UK), you may have additional rights to access, port, correct, restrict, or delete your data, or to object to processing. Email us and we'll help. We won't treat you differently for exercising them.
7. Children
The App and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
8. Security
Data travels over encrypted connections and is stored with Firebase's security rules so only your signed-in account can read your records. Our AI key is held on our server, never in the App. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your sign-in method protected.
9. International users
We operate from the United States and process data there. By using the App you understand your data is transferred to and stored in the US.
10. Changes
We'll post updates here and change the effective date. For major changes we'll also tell you in the App.
